Yours 4 A Day Ltd was founded by Jenny Gadsby (FMAAT) in 1997 with a vision to create a flexible, friendly and personal accounts service. The philosophy was simple. Many business owners are distracted from important jobs having to spend hours completing frustrating accounts works. Yours 4 A Day each week, a day every fortnight or even just an hour each month, we take away that frustration and provide a professional, friendly, open and cost-effective solution to your accounting needs freeing you to run your business.
From what was essentially a one person bookkeeping service, Jenny has successfully grown the business to now employ a great team of qualified staff who are able to offer an extensive range of accounts services, find out more about our team here.
Michelle Allen (FCA) took control of Yours 4 A Day in June 2017 with a view to continue the philosophy successfully established over the last 20 years whilst bringing skills and experience to allow the business to expand the range of services we offer.
We aim to understand your business, empathise with your challenges and work with you to overcome them. We want to build long term relationships and be considered valuable members of our customers team. ‘It’s like having your very own accounts department but without the overhead’. We believe in openness and transparency with our customers, our pricing structure is very clear and concise and there are no hidden extras, we don’t charge for letters or phone calls, it’s all part of the service.

The Boss
Michelle ~ Is a Chartered Accountant and Tax Advisor specialising in working with owner managed businesses. Michelle took control of Yours 4 A Day in June 2017. Having grown up within a family business she has a passion for helping small to medium sized businesses fulfil their potential. She has a wealth of accountancy and taxation experience having spent over 15 years working for a leading local practice. Michelle holds numerous qualifications including BA (Hons) Business Studies specialising in Finance, FCA (Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants), CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser). Outside of work, Michelle loves to spend time with her young son, she enjoys cycling and snowboarding as well as regular gym sessions.

Chartered Accountant
Alan ~ Is one of our chartered accountant here at Yours 4 A Day , he is a Fellow Chartered Certified Account (FCCA) with 32 years experience. He is a Manchester United fan and music lover. He completes our clients Year End Accounts.

Jodie
Jodie ~ Fully AAT qualified Jodie has 15 years experience in bookkeeping and completes quarterly VAT returns as well as all aspects of client bookkeeping. She is also a keen horserider and mum to young son.
Debbie
Chartered Accountant
Debbie ~ Has a Diploma in Business and Finance with over 15 year’s hands on experience running a successful IT business including accounts and payroll. She is currently working towards her Level 4 AAT qualification. Debbie deals with the day to day book keeling of our clients, VAT returns, Payroll and Self Assessment returns. In her spare time she loves baking but what really keeps her busy are her young twins.
Liz
Chartered Tax Advisor
Liz ~ Is our second Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor and deals mainly with our company stuff. She is a Nottingham Forest supporter and loves foreign travel, especially to India where she can indulge in her passion for animal welfare and yoga.
Simone
The Newbie
Simone ~ Is the newest member of the Yours 4 A Day team, she is AAT qualified having gained her qualifications through the Army and attending college in the evenings. Outside of work Simone enjoys reading and spending as much time as possible with her two kids.
